Abstract In this talk, the summary of four articles is presented by which the speaker has investigated deformations of classical Hermite poly- nomials. The polynomials under consideration are closely related with discretizations of classical Sturm-Liouville and Schroedinger equations and lead to a fascinating message in general: Closed discretizations of classical Sturm-Liouville equations are on the one hand side intrinsically connected with perturbations of differential operators. On the other hand they are associated with effects of noncommutativity in Banach algebras of difference-differential operators. The obtained results perfectly agree with the abstract formal approach to Quantum Harmonic Analysis by Arthur Jaffe, given in 1997.

Seminarsko predavanje bo v sredo, 7. marca 2001 ob 15:15 uri v seminarski sobi CAMTP, Krekova 2, pritlicje. Vljudno vabljeni vsi zainteresirani, tudi študentje.
